The Value of a SAGE Education

Valuable, competitive, affordable options for adults

At Cedar Crest College, our School of Adult and Graduate Education (SAGE) provides adult students with valuable financial aid resources—all of which enable you to pursue your degree or certificate program with lower out-of-pocket expenses. Here, some financial facts worth your review:

Lower Per-Credit Rates

At Cedar Crest College, the SAGE per credit rate is lower than that of similar learning institutions:

  • SAGE courses (evening, weekend and online): $465 per credit
  • Certified, in-service teachers: The prevailing state tuition rate, which is currently $429 per credit
  • Nursing courses (NUR): $785 per credit
  • MSN: $710 per credit*

*$604 per credit (a 15% discount) for the 2012-2013 academic year will be reflected on your bill

Better Educational Value

With our personalized service and small class sizes, Cedar Crest College provides a better education for every dollar spent.

Experienced Financial Advisors

At SAGE, experienced advisors will explore and explain your financial aid and educational loan options, as well as any veteran’s benefits and scholarships to which you may be entitled. We assist with both financial aid research and paperwork, saving you time and locating the maximum resources available to you.

The Most Generous and Progressive Transfer Policy in the Lehigh Valley

Our counselors will work with you to determine the maximum number of course credits that you can transfer and apply toward your Cedar Crest College degree, thereby sparing you unnecessary time and expense.

Assistance with Tuition Reimbursement

Many employers offer tuition reimbursement programs. At SAGE, we defer your payment until the end of the semester, which is when most employers write reimbursement checks.
