LVAIC Conference on Serving Adult Learners

Hosted by Cedar Crest College
Thursday, May 30, 2013

This one-day conference sponsored by The Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) will continue to explore issues related to the adult learner, the fastest growing population in colleges today.  Topics for this year’s conference range from time management and resiliency to MOOCs.  In addition to the presentations, several adult students will open the conference with their stories, and Dr. Bruce Chaloux, Director of Student Access Programs and Services at the Southern Regional  Education Board, will give the Keynote Address.  Previous attendees have represented many institutions of higher education including community colleges, two-year colleges, and private and public colleges and universities.  Deans, faculty, advisors, students, and staff will all find something of interest to take back and use at their home institutions.  Please do share this with colleagues who might not have received it.

The cost of the conference is $25 per person which includes continental breakfast, lunch, and conference materials.
